ECOA Awards

As part of our mandate to institutionalize a strong culture of ethical compliance across sectors, organizations, government department, and community groups in Africa, we will annually identify, verify, assess and recognize individuals, organizations, and public servants that have distinguished themselves as persons or organizations with exemplary ethical practice. This is aimed and encouraging others to change and challenging the status quo to change. All awards are mainly based upon, verification of the recipient’s ethical compliance in their respective sectors and activities.

Our Values

Compliance is the process by which organisations identify and meet their strategic obligations whether arising in law, standards, codes or from stakeholder expectations. Focusing on legal obligations in isolation results in a minimalist and narrow approach, which cannot leverage an organisation’s ability to efficiently manage all aspects of compliance risk

Training

It is imperative that firms not only maintain their procedures and practices, but their employees are also up-to- date with all regulatory and legislative developments.

Most organizations face increased ethics & compliance exposure, expanded global remits, but constrained resources. We help ensure those resources are used where they’re needed most by benchmarking the ethics & compliance program, and then comparing implementation across affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries, portfolio companies and/or third-parties.
